Hi guys. This is not going to be a long post and I will briefly explain why I didn’t like Lemmy and going straight back to Reddit.

  1. Lemmy is not a likable name.
  2. There are so much socialists/communists around, including Lemmy’s founders. Even the ‘subreddits’ called communities.
  3. Every app I tried is buggy.
  4. Lemmy world usually experiences connection problems.
  5. Content is not likable enough. I’m reading Reddit to relax, laugh and chill. Lemmy can’t provide that yet. Memes here are generally low effort.

    Maybe you can join a social media platform where each subsection is called “The glorious individualist capitalist struggle of ________”.

    (And Lemmy’s original programmers, not those in every signle instance, are totalitarian authoritarians, not communists.)
