This one caught my eye because of my boy Choppy being in it, and as a big fan of Eternal Sonata (world’s best bad game), that gets a lot of goodwill from me. Now, I’m not that into idol anime or classical music, but I am into any story that treats its battle of the bands (or whatever) with the life or death stakes it has no reason to claim, and this gets that tone just right. The rock covers of classical music definitely work for me and they bring a level of melodrama that ties it all together. Fantastic. 4/5.
