I’ve been collecting magazine images for a while, wanting to try this surrealist collage thing. But I have such a fear of committing to using an image. If I use up my paints, I can buy more, but if I use an image I found in a second-hand magazine, it can’t be replaced. It’s like playing Apples-to-Apples or Cards Against Humanity, when you play a card and pick up a new one to replenish your hand, then realize the new one would have worked so much better for the current prompt.
