They’re making money in the short term by cutting costs. Maximizing perceived profitability likely in preparation for a sell off. You see it all the time, but it’s rare to see it happen to something where the consequences of that are so public.

WB sure would deserve it if, for instance, a hail of bricks came falling randomly out of the blue at terminal velocity to pummel all of their fancy cars to shit where they were parked at their lot.

Be sure to never ever fly a remote control drone anywhere near a premises owned by WB, kids. Wouldn’t want to be implicated with a completely blameless karmic act of the gods.

Bear in mind I am specifically saying nobody SHOULD do this.

But I would find it very funny if it happened anyway :3

              trebuchet would leave more evidence

less mobile than drones which can swarm in from, potentially, all directions.

also i don’t think you can buy trebuchets from hundreds of stores ready to operate out of a convenient little box

furthermore once the trebuchet has fired and you have to get away, it will take quite some time to pick it up, pack it, and depart.

Starting to think this is a conspiracy by Disney to make all its competitors obsolete

How could this be a conspiracy by Disney? Adult Swim (Cartoon Network) is owned by WB Discovery.

Disney has zero control over this.

It’s just that WB has been doing stupid decisions (and mergers) for a couple years and I wanted to make a joke.

Jazzpunk is one of the best “point and click”* adventure games

*yeah, it’s first person, but it’s basically a point and click adventure, you walk around click on things and they tell jokes. what other genre does it fit into? FPS?? Well, I guess the wedding quake minigame is an FPS , but then you need to count the beat up the car minigame as a fucking fighting game.

Jazzpunk is one of only two games that ever made me laugh so hard I cried. The other being Octodad.

I looked up octodad on steam - what’s the difference between dadliest catch and student edition?

No idea. I’ve only played Dadliest Catch.

Edit: just looked at the Steam page, it looks like the Student Edition was the prototype game the studio made as a school project, which eventually inspired Dadliest Catch.
