The frozen condensation on my liquid nitrogen tanks gets so wispy and delicate. It moves like hair blowing in the wind.

The frost on a different part looks like an aerial view of a pine forest covered in snow.

I hope yours are in better shape than mine, at least. 😉

Cryogenics is the bulk of my job, so it’s just part of the daily business. It’s pretty dull, so I like seeing the designs in the ice crystals. They’re different every day from temperature and humidity changes and how leaky things decide to be that day.

All I have are 2 smaller Dewars. LN2 is fun to play with, not to mention making ice cream!

Lol I’d love to try making my own Dip n Dots! 😆

The pics are on one of my 240L dewars.

I want to do the dry ice “butterflies” with coins in a block of dry ice as well.

It’s reminiscent of bearded lichen…I wonder if the White Walkers in Game of Thrones would had beards and eyebrows like this (if we’d gotten a proper ending)

      It is!

That would have been cool to see them with beards like this!

Or to see a good ending! I read all them dang books, and now I have zero interest in finishing, not that I’ll ever get the chance if I wanted to.

I’m glad I never read the books, it would be difficult to invest all that time and the promise of a good story line, and then…

At least the TV show dropped in quality before the final season(s). The promise of a good ending that was well paced and thought out was fading well before the end.

I always used to re-watch episodes, but I only ever watched the final episode once

On a slightly more positive note, I have watched ‘House of the Dragon’ which I rather like, but I’m approaching it with caution, hopefully the show runners won’t shit the bed with this one

And it wasn’t even bad in that it was rushed, it just threw away so many people’s character development, and there were so many hanging storylines where the books left off, and now I know they don’t mean squat since they were able to completely cut them out of the story. Just so much wasted stuff.

          Shame! Shame! Shame!
