    Moms For Hitler

After all, they quote him on their frontpage so lets call them for what they truly are. These are not moms, they are hate machines.

I get what you are saying but you cannot use that wording as the opposing side would focus on the crassness of your statement.

Smile, be friendly and call then Moms for Hitler. They will protest, be offended even. But you can back this up: “then why did they promote Hitler quotes on their frontpage? Moms for Hitler sounds fair if your group quotes the man.” There will be arguments about how this was a ‘mistake’. This is easily dismissed by finger-quoting gestures and saying “why yes, who amongst us here did not quote Hitler by accident at one point and then published it on the frontpage of the organisation, totally by <emphasise finger-quoting vigorously> ‘accident’”

You can see where this is going, it will be an utterly frustrating thing to combat this statement as it has truth in it.

So you keep calling them by that name and be sure to be polite and friendly, but just keep calling them Moms for Hitler, do not relent on this.

This vile and vicious group deserves the anguish and frustration.

What did you just achieve? Nothing really other then annoying and frustrating delusional people and make them seethe with anger and frustration.
        I’ll take it…

At this point, any Yank organisation with “Liberty” or “Freedom” in their name is like countries with “Democratic” in their name.

Good! They always think if they just put “mom” or “liberty” in their title people can’t question their beliefs. I’ve talked to right wingers who can’t figure out others don’t think like they do. There is very little perspective over there.

We have one of those Moms for “Liberty” groups in my area. After they got LGBTQ books banned from schools and libraries, their new thing is going after literature relating to disability awareness. It’s sad to see, and anyone with a disability or a loved one with a disability should seriously be aware and worried about this trend.

Right-wing politics are all about performative outrage and fearmongering. They need everybody focused on a “boogeyman”, and once they conquer that boogeyman, they need to find a new boogeyman to get everyone riled up about and keep the rubes focused on anything but their policy ideas.

Mitch McConnell champions this. He has mentioned on record several times to make sure the party doesn’t focus on their own policies because of how unpopular they are, and instead to just spend 100% of the time telling everybody how whatever the Democrats are doing is bad in order to keep the attention focused elsewhere.

They were successful at killing Roe. Now the new boogeyman is the LGBT community. And apparently in your area it’s disabled people because hey, kicking people while they’re down is fun. and once they feel like they won whatever battle they’re waging against the disabled, it’ll be another disadvantaged group.

Because punching down is all the GOP has.

Philly “average joes” (not even activists) directly confronted a tacticool-kitted out white supremacist march and sent them running with their tails between their legs. My people will fight peaceful robots or Nazis any night you want, so long as the beer keeps flowing.
