His descriptions of Wunch were absolutely brilliant.
He played the Straight man very well, specially since his character was gay.
Really? I thought it was obvious. I don’t try to hide it.
*flashback*

Andre Braugher was a very talented guy. Getting him on Brooklyn Nine-Nine was a huge win and without Homicide: LotS his comedic turn wouldn’t have been funny in and of itself. As much as I like the entire cast of Brooklyn Nine-Nine I think he was the only actor whose character would have turned out wildly different if it had been played by someone else.
I’m currently deep into the 7th season of Scrubs right now and I was just thinking what series I should start next so it looks like Brooklyn Nine-Nine is gonna be it. R.I.P.
Or house. He’s in there towards the end.
Nooo 😢
RIP. He was a standout in anything he was in.
Homicide was one of the best shows from the 90s and he was the best actor on the show.
"Do you know what gravitas sounds like? 'Greetings… all.’
RIP, Captain Holt is hands-down one of the best sitcom characters ever. He was an absolute pleasure to watch 😢
Legit, he was the only reason I watched that show.
Boooooooone!
- Oh, damn.
- Oh, damn!
- OH, DAMN!!
And that’s three oh damns. :(
R.I.P.
No. Absolutely not. I will not allow it. Damn.
Sincerely,
Raymond Holt
died Monday after a brief illness.
WTF does that mean?
Died = to pass from physical life: expire
Monday = day of the week between sunday and tuesday
After = following in time or place
Brief = a short period of time
Illness = sickness, an unhealthy condition of body or mind
I’m with you - I don’t know if I’ve seen those words together like that in that order.
Does that mean something like covid/extreme flu? “brief” tends to mean minor - so what “brief illness” is fatal?
Brief as brief in time. So very acute and very fatal

😞 he will be missed, never seen another actor like him.
Oh no… What a shame. I loved him in everything I saw him in.
Oh fuck
