An interesting idea and a fascinating feat of engineering for sure
… but why? This seems like a solution in search of a problem. I’ve really noticed this a lot in the bicycle world - companies that keep trying to reinvent components and mechanisms that have been perfected decades ago.
In the real world there’s nothing perfect about a chain and derailleur.
I’m afraid I would get a testicle caught in the gear box.
Wear pants or just swing the ol scrote over a shoulder.
I like that and hope they don’t go with a custom chain solution.
Very cool. But why? Also how do you put the chain back on when it inevitably slips one day.
