I don’t think I would call this a McMansion fully, but it’s very very close. If you don’t agree, I can change the title!!!
It’s mostly the roofing and needless columns.
Edit:
thank you mihnt for the listing link and location info!
Someone on the r thread mentioned that the window in the middle peak doesn’t line up with the other windows, and now I can’t unsee it. it’s making me twitch.
I’ve always wondered if these were the results of “I can design my own home no problem” customers or just dog shit draft work on the business end. I’ve worked in some insanely bad designs and just always got a great laugh out of them
If I had to guess I would assume they have a small loft room at the very top, which is why a window got shoved up there.
It’s not even right aligned. Im so pissed
Oh God the middle peak just… Stops. Why!!! Why does it just abruptly end!!!
Whatever is going on with the center roof is the worst part of this.
What did they do with its side? Did some one steal it? Is there some other house with 1/5th of this house on it?
Also, every window has a soul patch. It leaves me feeling like I’m at a pretentious espresso bar.
Edit: EXCEPT 3! Those are the managers.
The architect wanted to create something unique and visually interesting, but failed SO HARD. It’s ugly, the windows are misaligned, and the end result just looks like a series of mistakes.
Pretty sure I’ve made this house in the Sims
Imo it’s not THAT bad
thank you!!!
Call me crazy but i like it!
May I ask what you like about it? Genuinely; I don’t know anything about architecture.
Me neither. I just like that its something slightly different. Looks like the owner put their own influence on the design. I’d happily live there!
De-grassing it could fix a lot.
Sad that there’s just three small windows on the huge wall at the right
That’s the side-load garage with bonus room above. All the finest McMansions have them.
never EVER put a bedroom above a garage! It’s torture!!!
This looks oddly like a suburban american church.
The issues I see would be tolerable/fixable. The roof being asymmetrical I could live with.
