I played the hell lot of KF starting back when it was a mod of Unreal Tournament 2004. I have very good memories of LAN parties playing it all night long. But by the time KF2 came to be, I had moved on to other things.

My issue with KF2 isn’t the speed, but rather that any player can trigger slow motion. I played with high level players and it was very awkward to go into slow motion every 10 seconds.
High level KF2 gameplay is pretty much pure slow mo
I kinda liked that mechanic, but thats because I have shit aim and slow reaction times
