    Reminds me of that scene in Interstellar where a baseball game is interrupted by a dust storm. Some interesting world-building in that scene regarding the state of the game too.

      It’s an incredibly fun and popular sport and the World Series just ended.

      Articles like this are good at highlighting that nothing sacred is safe from climate change.

      If a couple dozen people read the article from a baseball fan’s perspective and suddenly it clicks for them, it’s a win.

      Yes and one of those countries that does care about baseball is very naughty when it comes to its climate change contributions though. It can still be potent to tune the threat for whatever will motivate your target. For instance, the British would be stirred to action vigorously if you threatened to take away their tea and thinly veiled class system.

    It’ll be fine, just install retractable roofs on the stadiums (at the taxpayers’ expense of course), and air condition the whole field. You’ll have to leave a gap at the back for home runs but it’s ok if some air conditioning escapes, the taxpayers are paying to cool down the neighborhood!
