It just feels so out of touch with what everyday Americans are dealing with right now. “The economy is doing great!” For whom?!

Why would he give a shit about voters when he can cater to donors?
Theyve always been the party of the donor class while throwing just enough scraps at us to keep us quiet. Then they scare voters into thinking someone is coming to take their scraps, so they clutch into them for dear life.
It’s not doing good for anyone I’ve talked to.
Everytime I hear politicians telling us how great the economy is doing I hear the voice of Lucille Bluth ‘its one banana Michael, what could it cost, $10?’
They are so fucking out of touch with the working class and their struggle.
