Really? Worse than Borderlands and The Crow? Impressive.
Also: There’s still time in the year for even worse shit to come out 🤷🏻♂️
I haven’t seen either, but my impression is that Borderlands, while trash, isn’t actively harmful revisionist history, which is what I’ve been hearing about Reagan.
Bar was low, but still
Did I miss something? I didn’t see any numbers article. borderlands and Crow did terrible based on revenue.
Worst as in artistically worst. We’ll have to wait and see if the conservatives start giving away free tickets to boost its box office.
Ugh, they do do that, don’t they. I’ve heard of that from God Awful Movies when they visit Christian movies in theatre, places are ghost towns sometimes (and those movies sometimes end with the maker begging people to buy extra tickets).
Also this movie might be a contender, if it’s enough of a flat out lie of a movie, lol
Back when I was forced to go to church, there used to be drives where we would take a second offering to buy up tickets for Christian movies in the theaters and “give them to people who needed to see the movie.” I went to one once. I was the only one there. Where did that money go, huh?
I think you know, haha. The podcast I mentioned also sometimes has guests who had to sit through those things a kids, so that tracks. It’s probably funny/sad to revisit some of those films.
The only nostalgia I have for anything Christian was for a Legend of Zelda clone that I played as a kid called Spiritual Warfare. I kinda want to go back and play it, but I have so many other, better things to do.
I would even consider watching it of they covered it!
*The worst movie of the year so far
Directed by Sean McNamara, the artist behind 3 Ninjas: High Noon at Mega Mountain, Cats & Dogs 3: Paws Unite, and Baby Geniuses and the Treasure of Egypt and its follow-up Baby Geniuses and the Space Baby, Reagan
Perfect.
There’s no way it’s worse than Borderlands, The Crow, and Argylle
It is fiction that pretends he was a great person, I wouldn’t doubt how bad it is.
Bad people make great stuff, you don’t see people pretending that House Of Cards is terrible.
I’m sure the film is either good or average. For my part, I’d like to see it, but am waiting til I’m more informed on Reagan’s life so that the movie doesn’t skew my perception of him. I’m expecting this movie to be a biased portrayal of him life, much like the upcoming Trump movie.
