May gumagamit ba ng Alexandrite na UI para sa Lemmy? It’s pretty nice, kaso lang naninibago ako kasi sanay ako magopen lang ng tabs.

Did they though? Those who migrated from Reddit after the shutdown of 3rd party apps said that the content nosedived.

Speaking of content, the RDs on the other side has less comments than it used to be. There were times the evening RD had 1,000 comments/day, now it has an average of 400-500 comments a day.

I thought it was just me. After the protests, I did notice a decline in the quality of comments.

Yeah, I wouldn’t call it a victory. I suppose it’s a win in the sense na the API pricing continues and life kinda goes on. Pero madaming mga mods na nagsi-alisan or at least wala na gana mag-moderate. Some subs like r/MaleFashionAdvice are in Discord and yung mga naiwan are mostly newbies. People kind of take moderation for granted, but it’s a big deal why a community is what it is.

On the ferry ride to Cebu, there was a sudden drizzle on our side. We instinctively rose from our seats to avoid getting drenched, making the boat tilt. Good thing it was able to regain balance.

I think I was around 8 or 9 biking by myself around the subdivision, which wasn’t gated then. A car suddenly popped out on my right side and veered towards my direction. If I was a few seconds ahead, I would have been struck.

Vehicular accident, vehicle I was in flipped and went off the side of the road from avoiding a tricycle who suddenly went left with no warning. Car was traveling around 100 kph then. Thankfully everyone (around 8 of us) survived with no casualties or severe injuries.

On that note, it’s true that time does seem to slow down when it looks like you’re about to die.

Gunshot, traffic sa alabang-sucat service road, I fell asleep sa may pinto ng jeep, nagising na lang ako ng biglang may sumigaw na “akin na yang bag mo” startled awake I didn’t let go of my bag, nag tug of war kami. Nag give up yung snatcher. After my fellow passengers told me I was lucky he didn’t shoot me. Di ko nakita na may baril pala yung snatcher.

      Vehicular accident.

Tricycle I was riding got t-boned by allegedly a van (didn’t really see in account of us still spinning while the van booked it).

My left ear got wrecked and there was definitely some chest/lung trauma. For a while I got anxious anytime I had to ride a tricycle.

It was nothing compared to the person I was with, though.

She got a collapsed lung that needed draining every so often, pelvis and collarbone broke, as well as a myriad of other injuries out of the ordeal. It took about two months for her to recover.
