If you love Chess use this instead of Chess.com
I agree. I am subscriber of theirs. They provide immense value, for free.
I don’t want to brag but I’m one of these people that have lifetime donation. They do the amazing job.
Long ago, I made an app that controlled a headless Firefox instance and would manipulate a Chess.com webpage via an API. Then I found a guy to help build a custom wooden chess board I could monitor with an ESP32 and make calls to that API for moves, bridging a real board in a DIY setup. Never did finish the board, but realizing now I should have released the API layer.
In any event, glad Lichess exists.
Every time I see “lichess”, it makes me think about “lich-ess”, i.e., a female undead wizard.
Written in Scala ❤️
Lichess actually has some stuff not there on chess.com. One of the heavyweights in open source world.
Took me awhile to adjust as I was used to the .cum UI, but it really is great.
I’m also used to cum.
I used to spend so many nights with chess cum
You chessed in your pants?
I shudder imagining that a stupid company could make
.cum
domains actually happen. Looking at you Google and your.zip
trolling.
And the level is better on lichess, even if that’s difficult to find 2800+ players.
I played it for a while i could not save games against the computer so i could play them later.
