I love Long Live Jazz nights on Thursdays.
It’s the real deal. Not amateur night. The players and groups are a lot of the professors from Berklee or Boston Conservatory. Great music!
This just is missing the best brewery in MA.
Over in Brighton you’ll find Widowmaker. I put their beers above even the big boys like Trillium and Tree House.
I love how breweries have to reinvent the nightlife scene, since they are not “just bars”. So many cool things happening, especially on weekdays. I know people at Dorchester Brewing so I am always glad when they get some love. I have no time for waiting in line to get beer at Tree House, though.
Lines are definitely a no-go.
I know they recently changed the process at least Mon-Thr… no longer need to buy a wrist band and no drink limit.
