    Immediately the new branch gets saturated with numbers that weren’t on the number line before. This is induced demand. The new branch made congestion even worse

      Isn’t this referring to rail lines? I’ve never heard roads referred to as lines.

      I would say the imaginary numbers line goes somewhere else, is not for reducing congestion, imho

        The real numbers are the main bypass, the imaginaries are the orbitals which interchange with the positive and negative reals
