Italian here and…yeah, it didn’t make any sense even for me. So i found the source and the artist only wanted to draw something with the same shape of the region, so for example sicily is a slice of pizza because it has the shape of a slice of pizza, no other meaning.
The source is on reddit, here’s the link: Map-Art on Reddit
Edit: I wrote Campania instead of Sicily
I mean, a firearm for Campania isn’t wrong
Interesting, I thought they were all linked like Ferrari for Emilia Romagna
Nel disegno quella a forma di pizza è la Sicilia
Era tardi e non mi sono accorto della gaffe, ho corretto
That looks like Gandalf. It’s not Gandalf, right?
Maybe someone from Italy can enlighten us who the mascots are. I only recognise Ferrari - Emilia-Romana, Pizza - Sicily, sardines - Sardinia and the seahorse representing the shape of Puglia.
It looks like my dad, who is coincidentally from that part of Italy
What in the name of the fuck is this
Ah, someone from Italy! Can you identity the different symbols?
None but a few and they were not even immediately clear, definitely not what I would have thought of, even as a joke.
Maybe I was adopted.
I thought this was Worms terrain
It really does look like that!
Man, time to boot up Worms Reloaded, again
Fake, Sardinia shoul be sheeps
I … need very explains.
(Im not smart)I only kinda guess two, but I do really want to know about all of them.
Campania - why the revolver?
Napoli!
I’ve only seen fist fights in the street (or train station) when I visited. But it seemed like it was a bit on the violent side. That’s my best guess.
