Slowmo frames when he hits the ground with some stones/ dust floating up next to him.
Honestly, I’d say the slow mo frames might work better as the hit connects, rather than when the character lands. Slow as the kick happens with a slight screen shake puts emphasis on the power of the attack.

Blood when the character gets hit or slammed
And possibly some squelch/crack sound effects
The chains could have meat hooks. Make the grapple more bloody
