True, but there are way better fammade 5e implementations of the MtG worlds. Not sure if they already got to Capenna, but I’ve seen Kamigawa and Innistrad and honestly stuff looks like WotC made it themselves. Will post links when I find them tomorrow

You have successfully caught my attention. You must now perform a widom saving throw to spare yourself from the incoming flood of questions

Gonnna preface this with WotC has really shown their colours this past year, not unlike reddit.

But, Strixhaven, Ravnica and Theros are all MTG based sourcebooks for 5e.

Good to know. A Streets of New Capenna guidebook would be awesome if it existed but I probably wouldn’t even buy it lmao

I mean, fuck it, it’s DnD. You do you as long as your DM is down with it.

Good point. It actually works really well since in MTG Kitt Kanto is a Cat Bard Druid so you can make a Tabaxi character who just happens to share the same name and has the occuptation of bard or druid (Except those are the worst options for Tabaxi, ranger and Rouges are best)

Because of the stat bonuses? Just take the Monsters of the Multiverse version where you can choose the bonuses freely (everything else is the same).

Personally, I would not try to play dnd “optimally”, it takes away from the creativity and produces either bland or disjointed characters.
