What is going on in your country does really really has some strong similarities to the uprising of the third reich. No jokes, I am really concerned.
So are we.
Well, 1/3rd of us are.
1/3rd are eagerly awaiting the building of camps and showers.
and the other 1/3rd wont give a flying shit at all until it personally affects them, then they’ll have the audacity to act outraged and ask how could anyone let this happen.
sigh, As a Canadian, I find it odd that the US doesn’t have independant and non-partisan agencies responsible for running elections.
For instance, the federal elections are conducted by Elections Canada (https://www.elections.ca/home.aspx), Ontario provincial elections are conducted by Elections Ontario (https://www.elections.on.ca/en.html), Québec provincial elections are conducted by Élections Québec (https://www.electionsquebec.qc.ca), etc.
No, you see, things that make sense often hamper profits and corporate political agendas. We can’t have none of that obstructing our overlords.
The palms need to stay greasy
America, you are teetering on the edge
I’m pretty sure we’re already way over the edge. We just have a long way to go before we hit the ground.
Republicans bad. There I said it.
Now that I have, it says alot about failed leadership in the democratic party that anything rebubs do leaves them scrambling. These power grab plays have been telegraphed since at least Bush v Gore, if not Watergate. For decades Democrats have oppressed radical change within the party and now they have a political constituency that is disengaged and disenfranchised. Color me suprised.
Florida…where democracy goes to die
More fun, I’m a dem in a red county and they’ve never changed my mail in status. Which tells me they’re being selective, about who they’re unregistering. Which also means they targeting.
Law suit in 3…2…
I understand why Republicans might hate voters and being supported to vote for the candidate they like most.
However, how is this going to help them?
Don’t republican voters use mail in ballots? Specifically the elderly: Their primary voter base?
