I think the ultimate way to use cannabis is a dry herb vape but I’m curious what the lemmings think
lmk
Edibles, I like my lungs too much.
Yeah, same I actually switched to RSO recently lol. I still miss the dry herb vape tho
Dry herb vape. Cleaner than smoking, but I enjoy the high more than edibles.
Regular edibles don’t do it for me but my partner enjoys them. I like the full spectrum lol
Live resin vape carts. 👍
You using a specific battery or whatever comes with it?
I use an eLeaf battery. Er… I’m not sure the model anymore and it’s not printed on the device. But it’s lasted me for several years, unlike the cheap garbage you can pickup at a smoke shop or gas station.
Those eleaf stick types last forever! I really like yocan uni pros, the only down side is the magnetic connector which I can have a tendency to lose. But it looks like a little box mod and has a huge range of voltages.
Nice with the new rosin pens and ceramic cart heaters, you sometimes have to find a sweet spot with those.
My dry herb vape gets more use than anything these days
Hell yeah! In team dynavap
I like my booong, ideally with an ashcatcher
Hell yeah, I have a jet water pipe I use with the dynavap for vapohits
Concentrate from an erig is my personal favorite. Great flavors and you can adjust things to dial in the experience you want from gentle sipping on vapor to punch you in the lungs with clouds. Dry herb vapes are fine but I find them a little boring and haven’t used any of mine in years.
Interesting, I’m always concerned with the sources of concentrates so I still shy away but can grade flower like a pro lol. You have a erig brand I should look at?
Not OP but the divine tribe core 2.0 is aces. They also have the best customer service I’ve encountered in the last 10+ years.
Edit// have you ever considered pressing your own flower? You can try it out with some freshies and a $15 hair straightener before spending bux on an actual press.
They are coming out with the nice dreamz fogger pretty soon, that’s a more powerful heater using the same type of fully heated bowl. It also has a forced air function similar to a volcano. Looking really good, core is also great.
Dtv5 if you are willing to get into box mods.
Concentrate is definitely something you can really fuck up if you’re not competent so I only buy legal since its regulated and they do actual testing. Quality has gone up a lot over the years, the cheap stuff is mostly much better than it used to be and there’s a lot more higher quality stuff available now.
For erigs, you can’t go wrong with a Puffco Peak Pro if all you care about is performance (and cost isn’t a concern). For a cheaper and more portable option the Yocan Orbit is really good. If you’re a nicotine vape person and have a box mod already there’s a whole world of 510 threaded atomisers too, not sure what the current best is but Divine Tribes is a good place to start.
Eating it is the best. Lots of good recipes out there.
Arizer XQR desktop dry herb vape
When I have the time, edibles
Socially or whatever, I’ll smoke just because carrying a joint is relatively convenient and makes you the hero of any group. But generally I avoid it cos it makes me basically blackout and make my adhd worse and it’s like if I’m trying to enjoy an evening that’s not going to happen by time skipping 20 minutes for an hour and a half
I have been interested in getting a dry herb vape, though, to see if that makes it more enjoyable
Airizer Solo II, dry herb vape. It’s portable, just amazing. Edibles are good too.
I really like bubblers. I never owned one, but some buddies in college always carried one
My favorite is live resin/rosin, quartz nail & rig, torch or coil. But a big rip off a Dynavap (dry herb vape) loaded with good flower and a bit of concentrate is a close second.
Short answer -
I’ve tried a lot of different things and settled on multiple variations of dry herb vaping, preferably through water, as my favorites.
Longer answer -
The more I experimented with weed the more I realized I cared a lot more about it than the friends I was doing it with. For a long time my daily drivers were 510 vapes and edibles from a dispo since I wasn’t a smoker. As my tolerance built my satisfaction with those options soured, I started smoking flower. I kept all kinds of notes about different strains and what they tasted like, what the experience was like, etc. My throat and lungs couldn’t take smoking 5+ joints a day to manage my medical issues, so I started experimenting with dry herb vapes and fell in love. It was like I finally discovered what weed was. Literally every part of it was better for me. Fast forward a couple years and my opinion on that had begun to sour as well. The sessions were great but the highs and relief were lacking. After hunting through all kinds of different vapes I finally realized it was the bud that was lacking. Dispo weed works to an extent but it lacks soul and high end devices can only bridge the gap to a point.
So the complete answer is dry herb vapes (preferably through water) with some quality homegrown loaded in the bowl. So far nothing else comes close for me. Concentrate and whatnot is great too, but now I’m making all of it myself. I’d highly recommend it.
Hell yeah! I’m on team dry herb vape w the dynavap and induction heater, home grown when I can but I smoke too much and don’t have enough space LOL! Thanks for this man I’m for real interested in what people are doing these days. I use mostly indicas for calming so yeah smoking 5 joints a day would give me COPD at my age.
I’m not OCD but at the same time when I get in to something I tend to get deep in it.
These days I have databases for my seeds and grow journals instead of spreadsheets, and I still log my experiences and flavors. One thing I’ve just recently started doing is chasing particular terpenes instead of strain, or sativa/indica dominance. In the past I assigned the value of a strain to it’s overall terpene profile but I didn’t get specific about what was dominant or different from one grow to another and why that might do certain things for me.
In the long run I’m trying to pin down specific terpenes that give me relief from the things that ail me so I can buy or breed a strain to grow until the end of my days. There’s a bit more to it than that, but that’s the general idea.
Woah sweet. I am sort of new to growing and I actually don’t really have enough space to grow as much as I use for now but working on it. I smoked so long in an illegal state that I was always happy so long as it was weed. I found I prefer indica and flowers over 28% but haven’t chased down specific terpine profiles… Yet. I don’t think this is OCD this is cool lol
One of the traps of growing is chasing everyone else’s suggestions. A lot of the growing communities are toxic as hell and a lot of it is the blind leading the blind. That’s not to say I know it all or know better than anyone else, just an observation.
I think something that gets forgotten too often is that there are multiple ways to grow weed, and infinite variations of those ways to help growing fit your life and your space. The way I do it isn’t necessarily the best or better than anyone else’s technique, but it’s working well for my life and my needs. That’s the main thing I think gets lost in the excitement and allure of weed cultivation.
Then people inevitably run into problems and head online for help only to be insulted and ridiculed by someone that may not even grow or smoke. It’s a terrible way to learn.
Pipe is best. No muss, no fuss. And it has a lid so it’s always ready to go.
