I have only heard of melatonin for jet lag and changing shift work
I don’t believe it’s good for sleep in general given those two uses are about messing with circadian cycles and that’s not going to help someone without otherwise good sleep habits

They should work, although you might need to use the app that they provide. I wouldn’t be surprised if a random TV remote app didn’t work with an audio to IR widget
You, who needed an explanation on how a joke about Irish and potatoes was offensive, are an expert on the famine?
Google says social security disability insurance
“I’m sorry, please carry on with your racist jokes”
No need for sarcasm, deadpan works fine
By using the concepts “potato” and “Irish”
The only reason those concepts are linked is because potato was the emergency food during the period during which England was trying to kill all Irish people
She would have had to learn to hear, learn to speak. Perhaps she couldn’t understand them, perhaps all the meaning communicated was in sign language
I have felt vertigo in high places in regular 3D games like Minecraft. I have to sit for VR Ghost Busters
I can’t imagine how immersed I’ll be in more immersive VR
Which standard does Canada use?
I have a friend who’s a new PM (in scaled agile). He isn’t up on expectation management.
We have a process where we request data from another agency which takes “from 7 seconds to 12 days”
And of course he tells people that. And of course they hear “7 seconds”
I have told him that if the SLA is 12 days, say “less than 12 days”
A logging truck is probably safe to follow, an 8m log isn’t going to slide off the stack
Consider them crew
Indeed, however the Americans stand out in the anglosphere
Wombats, koala, kangaroo, and emu eggs are easier to catch/find and were the main meat in places where those are common
I would rather Australian risks than those of bears and big cats
Aussie snakes try to keep away from people, they aren’t aggressive.
Our spiders are so like those elsewhere (compare Redback to black widow)
You’re unlikely to see a kangaroo in water. If you do, keep away from it just like you keep away from wild animals anyway
They said 1st as an abbreviation of first (it’s a normal abbreviation 1st, 2nd, 3rd … 7th abbreviate first, second, third … seventh)
If you want to be both wrong and confusing
If you want to use correct English and be clear don’t use ordinals: Say “index 0, index 1” etc
Save ordinals for contexts without indices: the first time through this loop, the last record"
Calling index zero the first is correct, but risks misunderstandings such as in the op comic
That is why many call index zero the zeroth index
First and 1st are certainly different symbols for the same concept
The spelling for the index before the first is zeroth, no need to insert an extra vowel
You mean in a single dose? I’ll have
