Extrapolating from this, major milestones would happen faster and faster until 2023, where all remaining major milestones happened simultaneously with the release of OpenAI’s ChatGPT 4. For only $200/mo, you can experience this magical moment for yourself with unlimited access to our best ChatGPT models!
Their website has a question at the bottom “Are you still interested in Pebble?” And if you click yes, it’ll show you their new models, but there’s also a button for No, which takes you to Google’s latest smart watch. The “we’re not a big tech msgacorp” vibes are strong with this one.
Fantastic Four was way better, it’s not even close. The only thing that didn’t feel forced in Superman was the fight scenes.
Other than like 2 races, LeClerc has notably outperformed Hamilton in equal hardware, and I don’t think many people would claim LeClerc is the best driver on the grid. I’m with Bernie on this one, every year Hamilton sits mid-field in a Ferrari is a year a rookie doesn’t get a chance.
I always go for a joker asap. If you buy a $4 joker after the first blind, it will save you from using 2 hands in the big and boss blinds, so a net loss of $2, and now you have a joker. If you need extra hands, then the added interest gained is a wash.
Getting a money joker is worth more than a mult joker, at that point, even if it only pays out once or twice, that’s a dramatic shift in your initial economy, and pays for another joker right away.
I cannot put into words how much EA has killed Titanfall.
Thanks for posting these. I always get confused if I don’t see this post before a race.
https://lichess.org/editor/rnbqkbnr/8/8/8/8/8/PPPPPPPP/PPPPPPPP_w_HAkq_-_0_1?variant=antichess&color=white doesn’t look like lichess let’s you start like this, idk how to get it working. Looks like it’s because en passant rules are undefined for a pawn on the back row.
Edit: we can move them a row up: https://lichess.org/editor/rnbqkbnr/8/8/8/8/PPPPPPPP/PPPPPPPP/8_w_-_-_0_1?variant=antichess&color=white looks like it’s almost a guarantee for the pawns, almost every move forces a trade.
Edit 2: apparently my initial conclusion was wrong, but stockfish has no idea how to solve it. Let the bishops take one pawn, breaking the line, and have the rooks cleanup. Might still work a row back if you get the queen in position or something.
It all depend on how you define patriotism. Honestly, I think Colin Kaepernick kneeling during the national anthem is the most patriotic act ever. He knew people would hate him for it, but he did it anyways because he took a hard look at his own country and decided we needed to do better.
As a software developer, when I read that sentence, I heard “We want WiFi 8 to continue to improve the standard and be faster, but that’s not a very sexy sales pitch, so we’re gonna pitch it as if AI is the only reason we’re developing better infrastructure.”
They’ll never get it right. Bluetooth is fundamentally bandwidth limited, new protocols can be a little more efficient, but that doesn’t change the fact that there’s just not enough data flowing for it to sound good.
OH MY GOD JUNE, ARE WE STARTING A COMEDY DUO?!?
Guess it’s time to buy another album then.
There is no surface-level equivalent to cloud seeding. You seed clouds as high up as you can and hope they spread and persist. The equivalent on Earth is to spread white ceiling paint over a majority of all land.
No because I’m not subbed to anything on ml. Took Lemmy a while to migrate the right communities off, but things are better now.
Yeah, that’s kind of the point? Was the comparison between the Na’Vi and native Americans too subtle for you to notice before you saw this meme?
With one of my dogs, I’ll look for the dog that does exactly what I say when I say it. For the other, I will look for the dog that completely ignores everything I say.
Oh…you meant that Superman…
