Is Cryptpad really the best docs alternative? I’m looking for something to replace docs, it’s one of the last things I need to degoogle.

Thank you for replying a month later! I’ll have to give baikal a go, it sounds very interesting
Does baikal work for reminders and support caldav/carddav? Currently I’m using a VPS running nextcloud for contacts, calendar, and tasks/reminders but I have an old Dell server collecting dust that I was going to start selfhosting on.
I was going to just selfhost Nextcloud, but I don’t use Nextcloud for cloud storage, just contacts, calendar, and reminders. Soooo baikal might be a better option for me

Khloto Privacy@lemmy.world•Google just launched a new era of tracking - TutanotaEnglish4·6 months agoI’m personally more worried about what a company is doing with my data. I.e. Google reading your emails for “personalized ads” or just straight up selling my data.
I feel confident that Tuta is not selling my data, and that’s what’s important to me.
On top of this, I also use my own domain, posteo does not support custom domains.

Awesome, thank you! Looking for a GMaps alternative now. So far I’ve only tried Here WeGo Beta
Does Organic Maps work with Android Auto?
Anyone know of a good alternative that works with Android Auto?
KhloOPto DeGoogle Yourself@lemmy.ml•Am I out of luck on phone OS because i have a Z Fold 6?1·6 months agoDon’t get me wrong I love my folding phone.
I haven’t done any research, but the OS (One UI from Samsung, in this case) has a lot of tweaks to make sure everything works seamlessly and smoothly with the larger screen.
I’m just assuming that the de-googled OSes probably don’t play nice with the larger screen, especially while opening and closing the phone.

Out of curiosity what’s the problem with ksuite?
I’m still on the hunt for my google docs replacement, currently I’m testing OnlyOffice Workspace and MobiOffice. Was thinking about giving Collabora (I like LibreOffice a lot, but I need it to be accessible at least via browser) or Ksuite a go as I’m having some crashing/slowness issues with MobiOffice when copying complex formulas across more than like 10 rows/columns
