Mountain lions cannot catch cats and dogs easily. Also, plenty of people would straight up murder mountain lion with a gun or their car to save a dog or cat.

Catch, Neuter, Release diminishes wild cat populations dramatically over just a couple generations, and it doesn’t involve having to facilitate their deaths.

Edit: I am a fan of the motorcycle idea. We should make sure they’re electric to cut down on their driving volume.

  • Sounds like they just stopped dopamine saturating themselves. If you’re constantly seeking dopamine-producing activities, your receptors straight up stop being able to uptake more dopamine, and I’ve heard that dopamine overproduction can wear out your pituitary gland so that it stops producing enough (this is mostly noted in drug abusers). So there’s a school of thought that engaging in less dopamine-inducing activities helps you have a healthier baseline where your brain experiences more enjoyment out of regular activities.

I have only ever encountered these talking points in passing so i have no clue if it’s true.

It’s disruptive to the natural order to save prey from predator. Now that Truck-kun will go without a meal it would’ve gotten. It might even starve having missed that meal.

Incredibly irrisponsible behavior. Do not do this! Preserve the natural order so these habitats can continue in equilibrium!

  • You cannot function or work towards a meaningful future if you are constantly drained from a lack of happiness. It’s those moments of hope and bliss which drive us forward. To deny yourself those moments is to remove your drive for better times.

It is not a matter of whether it’s morally acceptable - you must be happy at times in order to renew your fighting spirit. To question whether happiness is OK is like questioning whether eating or breathing are OK.
