I have apple products, including an iPhone. I was a lifelong android user who switched recently due to just wanting a phone that works. I always had issues with getting mobile hotspots to work and other small issues with android. With my iPhone things just work. I agree that the locked in environment is a bit restrictive but I’m willing to accept that for the peace of mind having it all set up brings.

I don’t text, so the iMessage blue bubble thing is really not a deal for me. It just worked out right for me to go apple and I haven’t really regretted it.

Things like this is why I already made the switch to digital games. If the one point of having physical media was to have a backup, and nowadays most games aren’t even fully on the cartridge/disc, whats the point? At that point it’s just another form of DRM.

This isn’t too surprising though, Microsoft has been big into getting rid of physical media.

It really depends on your hair color. I have red and blonde facial hair, so laser didn’t do much. I wasted a lot on laser so I suggest if you have light colored hair do electro. I’m currently doing electro and really wish I woulda just started with that.

As for the sketchy house, a lotta people do it from home. If they have good reviews that should work, but if it looks super sketchy I’d say just wait. Hopefully that helps!
