Consolidation of EV communities to !electricvehicles@slrpnk.net seems to have been a success. Subscribers are still on the low end, but there are plenty of active users.
That’s great to hear!

Lemmy 0.19.6 and 0.19.7 were released in November, shouldn’t this change be included in those versions?
https://join-lemmy.org/news/2024-11-15_-_Lemmy_Release_v0.19.7
you just cant look at the page for the community and new people cant sub (but they can still be posted and read from).
How can you read the community without accessing the community page, are you supposed to just use feeds?
It might not be “completely broken”, but still quite broken
next downtime hopefully should be soon to do another round of fixes
🤞
Indeed. And as Reddit was probably quieter, the mirroring bots would be too
Thanks
Thanks !
!pokemon@lemm.ee should probably become the default one
Seems that community doesn’t have a mod.
Would you like to become the mod?
Seconded
Is there any non-Bluesky server people can register to?
Navels, but federated!
Well spotted
I still doubt we make 9 millions posts per day, there is another graph dedicated to comments, which has a much tinier drop on Thanksgiving: https://lemmy.fediverse.observer/dailystats

Wait, so if I create a new “programmer_humor” community, would it replace the old one? If yes, that’s a bit concerning.
I know people can help, but most mods probably just want their communities to work and don’t know enough about databases to help here
24 millions users
Nice update!
Hello,
Thank you for the update!
About 0.19.7, you should know that there is a strange bug affecting thumbnails: https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/issues/5196
I’ve had different experiences on lemmy.cafe and lemmy.zip for instance
On the other hand, on lemmy.zip, which is also running 0.19.7 (https://lemmy.zip/?dataType=Post&listingType=All&sort=TopDay)
Not sure what is happening here, but I thought you might want to know! Since then, the Lemmy devs reversed the logic, so next version should fix this.
You did well, to be honest
Ah, that could be it, thanks!
