That’s why I’m definitely gonna get a partial if I ever get a fursuit. All I need is the head, hand paws, and tail. Then I’d be set… as soon as I get a bunch of sweat reduction clothing and more black pants and long sleeve shirts.

AceFuzzLord@lemmy.zipto Patient Gamers@sh.itjust.works•What's your preferred way of buying games? (digital/physical/physical digital)2·14 hours agoFor older titles, depends on if I can find them at a good price. At one point I got a bundle of old Popcap titles for a lot cheaper on Steam than if I bought each individual game on physical disk.
Though, if it’s not being sold on any digital stores, I’ll see what the price might be like on eBay and if I deem it too expensive ( varies depending on how I feel about the franchise and a few other factors ), I’ll just not both getting a physical copy, if you catch my drift.
I don’t mind physical copies of games at all, for a good price. Especially for older titles. It’s why I bought Morrowind and Oblivion GOTY edition at a thrift shop. Prices were low and they’re games that are high enough quality for me to consider playing.
No comment on newer titles because this is the patient gamer community.
AceFuzzLord@lemmy.zipto Atheist Memes@lemmy.world•Funniest part is: they can't even agree internally on how to believe1·1 day agoDon’t know whether this would be considered necroposting, but I thought about this the other day and it feels exactly like a headcannon war between the religions.
You know, people saw the first season of a show ( religious dogma in this case ) and then decided to make fanfiction about it, but these 3 groups all fight each other over what should or shouldn’t be the proper, one and only, headcannon.
Then, to make things even more chaotic, people within each group then splinter off even more over what they think should be proper headcannon.
I mean, I cannot remember how past me has felt about it, but as a child I always went to church ( Christian family ) because my parents made me. Was more of a tradition than anything else, to me. Never had any bad experiences in any church I ever attended, but never felt a spark, as far as I can remember. No connection to any higher being other than man itself.
AceFuzzLord@lemmy.zipto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•On a scale of -10 to +10, are you technophobic (-10) or are you technophilic (+10)1·1 day agoMaybe a +3 or 3.5 max. After having a little bit of experience with artificial “intelligence”, I have been doing everything in my power to block it out of my life.
People can call me a Luddite for this, but my response to those people is that I can at least think and form an opinion without needing an AI telling me how to think or what to feel.
The only exception to the AI rule for me are the people who either use their voice or get consent from a friend, to work together, to use their voice for something like creating a Diffsinger or ENUNU voicebank as that requires a lot more work than just typing a prompt on a keyboard and, when done in an ethical way, doesn’t involve theft in general. Similar reasons I support UTAU voicebanks and older vocaloid voicebanks that are basically confirmed not to have used AI.
As for other forms of technology, I will absolutely agree with OP on fearing the people over the technology, even if I don’t fully understand it all. Except for VR. I’m 100% worried, with the way my brain currently works, that someday we’ll have realistic enough VR that I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference and that scares me a lot.

AceFuzzLord@lemmy.zipto Gaming@beehaw.org•Weekly “What are you playing” Thread || Week of August 3rd3·2 days agoI had an amazing run going earlier on Dungeon Clawler using Toxicarl and the kiddo pets. I could stack millions of stacks of poison on the enemies. Got to somewhere like floor 70 or so before dying.
Other than that, I have been on and off with most every other game I’ve attempted to play due to me finding them more boring nowadays.
The exception being a pokemon fangame: Pokemon Decay, which is kinda cool. Whole thing of the region you are in is the result of the first 4 regions being smashed together due to a decade prior the 3 legendary Hoenn creatures causing things to go chaotic and causing lots of chaos. Has new forms of pokemon, new evolutions for some, and for the most part they all look like well designed sprites.
AceFuzzLord@lemmy.zipto Television@piefed.social•How unlucky have you personally been with TV shows you're watching getting cancelled?1·2 days agoConsidering the majority of what I watch anymore is old, pretty damn lucky because I at least know when it’s gonna end.
Though, the worst luck I had was with this one show from 2018, Summer Camp Island, which was part of the HBO Cartoon Network fiasco, if I remember correctly, so I had no idea whether the final season was gonna even be released ( luckily it did ).
- Used to play viola back in school. Lost it around fall 2019, early winter 2020 during a forced move.
- I currently have an acoustic guitar I got recently. Really need to actually play it now that I have time instead of letting it sit in the case. Learn it instead of procrastinating.
- I should follow music communities to find more music, but I don’t because IDK.
- I don’t post because I feel like whenever I do post on a site like this that I need to respond to everyone who replies, which adds mental gymnastics I don’t wanna play with .

It’s never about the kids. Only a pedo, child haterz or both would ever try to convince you it’s about the kids.

The only way that we can actually achieve liberation is if everybody actually is treated as fully human and has the same opportunities.
I may be a bit too radicalized, but that’s a statement I don’t 100% agree with. The actions of the rich have radicalized me to wish them to feel what it’s like to be a slave, by becoming an actual slave.

He’s just gonna pick you up from school one day. Better hope he doesn’t bring his white van.
If we’re talking the one by Dr. Johnathan Swift, about selling poor people babies and kids for food, then I absolutely agree. I just found and read it on Gutenberg and it was a little disturbing, in an interesting but absolutely messed up way.
I heard that during the Hong Kong protests that they originally used traffic cones to at least contain them. No idea whether mud would work, but a Mythbusters episode on tear gas would be amazing.
