This is a neat owl I don’t think we’ve discussed yet.
It’s in the same genus as the Long Eared and Short Eared Owls.
I couldn’t find any pics that really highlight it, since there’s no real sense of scale comparing random images, but I read the Striped Owls wings are shorter and broader than is typical for an owl.
They’re an unknown to me as well. I pretty much took the photo just so I could post it here :)

Clamor is the modern version, which is a loud/excited/confused shouting.
