I still don’t understand how she saw zero repercussions from that. Sex acts, boobs out, in crowded theater??? Anyone else would be arrested. I mean they have it on video!! No “alleged” involved.

Before the MAGA folk start clutching their pearls about “leave their children be”, he’s 18 and fair game.

Maybe the kids is a serious POS, idk, but I don’t think his age is any justification to be shitty to him. There isn’t some “adult-switch” that’s flipped on a person’s 18th birthday. They’re largely the same as they were the days and years before that point. Policy wise and legally we need an age to define these things, but using that socially is pretty crappy.

“She also said: 'I love my son Tyler, who has been through some very difficult, public challenges for a young man and the subject of attention that he didn’t ask for.”’

I don’t condone the alleged actions but I’d rather not have the 18y.o. kid/young adult’s bad choices splayed across national media outlets. Unfortunately for him, while he didn’t ask for the public attention, his mother’s incessant need for attention all but guarantees anything he does will not stay a private or just locally known matter. His “public challenges” likely would not be so public but for his mother’s narcissism.

Hell no if I have to have Hunter Biden’s “crimes” shoved down my throat at every opportunity then the media should feel free as ever to blast this hypocrites actual felon of a son’s story from every medium they own. Dems playing fair and being the bigger person has gotten us to the shit show that is the modern US. To hell with it. This is well deserved publicity.

I think the idea here is to keep Boebert’s hypocrisy as the focus, rather than focus on the son.

The Hunter witch-hunt disgusts me as well and I understand and at times agree with the not always being the bigger person sentiment. But for me, this is not one of those times. The kid is not the hypocrite, it’s his mother. And I label her a hypocrite not for her son’s actions but her own.

I mean, I’m gonna step out ona limb and say “he is fully aware his mom is a national celebrity. Doing illegal things is asking to get caught. Thus doing illegal shit when your mom is a national celebrity, is in fact asking for the attention.” Cause and effect doesn’t stop applying just cause your mom is a politician, and getting the consequences that are coming to you shouldn’t be a surprise, nor should he get a discount for being someone kid.

So… The Biden Mafia held them at gunpoint and forced them to do that video?

Oh wait, the local cops arresting the guy are part of a grand federal conspiracy to drum up false charges?

    No… Not that either.

Could it be shitty parenting with fantastic examples in public theaters? Hmm…
