It means as a 49ers fan I have an obligation to tell you that the 49ers lost the Super Bowl in overtime to the Chiefs. I am both proud of and depressed by the 49ers’ performance. However, everyone should know that the 49ers will win the Super Bowl next year for sure.
In addition, we live in a weird time when conservatives’ newest conspiracy theory is that Taylor Swift is a CIA asset and that the Pentagon rigged the Super Bowl so the Chiefs would win. The idea being that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce would endorse Joe Biden at half time. This is of course nonsense.
Moldy Berry is a hero who gets at how I feel about the whole thing. I don’t even like country music, although Mr Mom is funny, and I honestly think football is a health hazard for the players. I don’t follow Taylor Swift, but I’m glad she got her fans to register to vote. I don’t follow football, but I have been a 49ers fan since I was a kid. I figured some conservatives might say that the game was rigged for the Chiefs, which is a lie. As a 49ers fan, I wanted something to say in response.
