I think I’ll try this out. I’ve played the shit out of Skyrim but that’s the only one. I even own Morrowind and Oblivion on Steam but haven’t played them. :(
I tried it out. Easy to install. Character creation is fairly opaque by today’s standards. But the questionnaires are very cool.
The combat was… Something. Hold right click and swing the mouse to swing the sword that direction. Very cool idea. I hit the rat 1/30 times and reconsidered how much time I wanted to spend.
It’s not clear but behind the scene it’s dice rolls so it’s normal that a new character can’t hit shit
Surely there’s more to it
Oh a whole lot!
16 times the detail!
I may finally play an elder scrolls game.
Back in my day, daggerfall crashed every hour. I died half a dozen times trying to leave the starter tower. I remember getting to my first town and then getting attacked by bandits.
I remember not understanding anything that was happening.
But what I did know was that I was having a hell of a great time exploring this random world for a few hours.
Good times huh. I felt the same way when I was playing old PC games. I might just pick up Deus Ex again.
