This is in Minnesota. When I was a kid, I begged my parents to drive to see it. They rented a room at some motel in Bemidji and made a weekend of it. The highlight of my trip was seeing the huge Paul Bunyan and Babe statues.

I thought they were so great and it was like they came to life out of a book, but now that I see them again… holy shit lmao

What’s extra fun is like a block away is a really stoned looking Native American guy statue that has his arm up in what I hope is a wave and not a stiff-arm salute. But he usually looks like he’s petting the tree that grows next to him.
