New research in the journal Evolutionary Human Sciences, from University of Kent researchers Louis Bachaud and Sarah Johns, explores how members of various manosphere communities (think Andrew Tate and his ilk) misuse research and concepts from evolutionary psychology to bolster their own misogynistic views.

It’s good that it’s being officially researched but yeah women on the internet have known that any man saying the words “evolutionary psychology” is generally about to start a misogynistic rant for at least a decade
Yeah, I agree. Pseudo-science as a pretext for sexism is a pretty old phenomenon.
“Evopsych” is pretty much just the phrenology of our times.
