President Joe Biden has gotten the updated COVID-19 vaccine and annual flu shot, the White House said Saturday.

The White House physician, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, said in a memo that Biden received both shots on Friday. O’Connor said Biden, 80, also was vaccinated several weeks ago against the respiratory illness known as RSV.

“As we enter the cold and flu season, the President encourages all Americans to follow his example and to check with their healthcare provider or pharmacist to assure that they are fully vaccinated,” O’Connor wrote.

    Yep, it doesnt excuse him automatically, you are right. Let’s judge him for a saying tje vaccine protects more than it did - sorry again, why is this not an exaggeration? - while we judge Trump for willfullingly lie about treatments, seriosity of the disease and precautions that is estimated to have caused a fuckton of additional deaths. Let’s see…Biden’s exaggeration caused…0 deaths.

    So, comparing a pebble to a boulder. See the issue?

        All I’m seeing here is that because Trump exists, Biden is automatically innocent of any wrongdoing. This binary view of politics is the real problem with this country.

        That’s only because you actively close your eyes on everything other commentators say. Again, just for you;

        Nobody is denying that Biden exaggerated.

        It’s just completely and utterly negligent. Of course we know now that vaccination does not “prevent” all spreading. Still, here is one of many reviews underlining the effectivity of vaccines. While this is not a complete prevention, it’s just pedantic and catching straws to find wrongdoings on both sides. Please refrain from spreading misinformation in regards of the effects of the vaccine. So - the 2nd time I ask, maybe you’ll answer now: How is that NOT an exaggeration?

        You simply cannot compare Trumps STRATEGY that caused 40% more deaths than necessary to one claim that was even backed by the CDC at the time. Fearing it might be not so easy to understand: Thats how science works…you work with theories that change over time.

        I don’t feel like anyone could use your argumentation other than in bad faith. If you don’t please consider again if “both sides are the same”, if one side told something untrue, while the other murdered your family - talking abstractly now.
