Sorry ahead of time for being a but if a buzzkill but safety is very important and should not be taken lightly.
Noticed a fair few folks making posts that leave serial numbers visible, and also a decent amount of selfies, both of which can very much be a dangerous thing to do, particularly as part of a targeted minority, and especially if you make your location known, and more so with the current political climate in the US.
Serial numbers visible can make it very easy for a bad actor to report that your gun was stolen from them, and with cops, particularly in the US, that alone can be a death sentence reguardless of the facts.
As for selfies not saying to never do selfies but please do be aware it can be dangerous and generally a bad idea to advertise your face, that you are trans and the fact you have firearms, to a political administration that doesn’t want you to exist and is happy to find excuses to target you.
Ultimately I would advise for safety to cover you face with a bandana if you must have your face in a post, and to always covor up your serual numbers while posting a picture where it would be visible in any way, even if its blurry.
Just to add, for any censoring you do need to apply to photos, just use a solid black box. Blur effects can be pretty easily reversed. Basically just do something that fully replaces existing pixels with a solid color.
I agree with everything here
