    “The best gun is the one you’ve got with you.” And the LCP is awesome in that regard. You can carry it anywhere. The downside being because they are so small and light, it’s surprisingly violent to shoot.

      my bodyguard 380 is so painful to shoot - I kinda want to get rid of it but to your point - I keep it around.

        Smaller frame imparts more recoil. The first round out is important, but if the recoil is too much, it makes it more difficult to get a good sight picture for the following shots. Concealability, comfort, and accuracy are things to consider, but practice with what you have now until you replace it.

          oh i have others. full frame 45 1911 is too big. but my 357 revolver is just perfect and clean. :)

    I like the ‘speed holes’ in the trigger, but have to assume a heavy pull, 'cause I can’t see an external safety?

      no safety on a Ruger LCP, heavy pull with a long travel. There is a variant called the LCP MAX which has a safety and a slightly lighter factory pull.
