Entire days in bed, as endorsed by the CCP.

Make no effort to rebel, like your grandparents did during the Long March era. Don’t vote and protest for systemic change. Just stay in bed, and look at your memes.

This is not endorsed by the CCP. The cultural mainstream in China encourages wage slaving away in their hyper capitalist system. Refusing to participate in this system is a real problem for the government, as it makes their society look bad. It shows that people don’t believe in the grift, which indicates that things will get worse for the rulers unless something fundamentally changes.

She recommends using that time to reconnect with your sense of purpose. “Try asking yourself: What makes me excited in life? What do I care about most? Which big problems in the world would I like to solve? Using initial answers to these questions might help a person connect with their unique sense of mission and vision, and from there, a person could research related internships.”

lol, the old “What are your dreams? Ok now get a job”

Of course a fortune article will end with “get a job.” They want this to be a cautionary tale that encourages capitalists globally to crack down on “lazy kids” unwilling to “serve the system”
