So… MrBeast is in Love Death and Robots S4, and it hurts me deeply.
Yeah, this is the perfect “Capitalism subsumes and sells criticism of itself” moment… That episode is clearly written with the “ooh, look at how game shows turn contestants into cattle for the whims of the rich spectators” theme in mind, but it then proceeds to shoot its own foot off and break its neck while falling by having Mr. Beast be the face of it… Awful… Just awful…
Edit: kinda’ ruined the whole show in retrospect… Had a lot of moments I loved (and a lot of new music to snatch up), now I doubt it ever had any actual intent, other than farming views…
Exactly, at first I just thought they were making a parody of his torture shows, but then I saw him in the credits. I hoped that it would just have been a impersonator. This is the worst outcome :(

That RHCP episode was pointless. The one with Mr. Beast was great. The irony of Mr. Beast being the MC of a sadistic spectacle for the entertainment of others did not escape me.
