He’s clearly a genius.
Counterpoint: The reason AI cannot be a better teacher is that it does not and cannot handle the physical “care” part of teaching. You can provide a 5th grader all the material they need to know, but good luck getting them to absorb that, especially if they don’t want to learn.
I’m torn between deleting this asshole’s app and continuing to learn Spanish…
There are plenty other apps as good or better than duolingo that aren’t shoving ai everywhere.

I’ve switched to busu. But that was just one of a few options I saw on a similar post. I don’t remember the others since I’m not using them. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

All of that stuff is available online but going to a place to work on it specifically is still important. Even as the pedagogy changes there still needs to be a place away from home and work and toys to learn how to study and to study.
May I ask why you agree? What makes ai a better teacher than a human at the primary school level?
Any level. Early level and the kids may not even know what questions to ask and they certainly can’t fact check the AI. Late level and you need your own knowledge base to think critically and develop new things and use old things in new ways.
