they have an even newer one now!

Screenshot of the page in the Delta Emulator to change its logo. The new logo is an upright triangle made of 3 thick lines, all with slight padding between them. The lines stick out at the top and on the right. The new logo has 3 variants: white on purple (named Delta), white on red (named Photo Editor), and purple on white (named GBA4iOS). The page also lists 2 classic logos, including the classic one which is a triangle with the bottom line cut out on the right, and the "broken" logo, which is the classic logo but with the top of the triangle cut and rotated. Both are white on purple.

you can still use the classic one from the settings, and they even made a red one to troll lmaoooo

This is bullshit. Adobe had a negative space verion of the a, but never used anything that looks like this until very recently. Meanwhile Delta has beem using this logo for well over a decade.

Also, it’s a pretty generic logo that probably shouldn’t be trademarkable. (the earlier negative space version, sure, but not what amounts to basically just a triangle)

It sucks that corporations can basically just decide that something is theirs now, and force everyone else to stop using it.

They should have gone for a closed triangle, like the uppercase Greek letter delta: Δ.

Wasn’t it something like you can only protect your trademark in your specific domain? Pretty sure Adobe isn’t in emulating yet.
