For those who haven’t seen it before, the flag pictured is the Queerian flag! Queerians are primarily or exclusively attracted to other queer people. This can be an identity all it’s own or a modifier (i.e. queerian bisexual).

For me, I guess it comes with the territory of being nonbinary. It’s just hard to imagine someone who isn’t queer understanding the weirdness of my relationship to gender. Even though I tend to refer to myself as a woman, I would legitimately have an easier time being attracted to a gay man than a straight one. It doesn’t really make sense to me, but at least there’s a word for it 🤷‍♀️

Ooo! I like this! I’m trans femme and nonbinary and often use T4T to describe myself because I think I could really only be with people that “get it”. While it’s largely true, there are people that probably wouldn’t consider themselves trans, but are queer in the way that makes them “get it” that I would be perfectly comfortable with. “Queerian” seems to sort of broaden the trans umbrella in a helpful way, while also shifting the focus away from binary trans folk, who, while of course valid in their desires for binary transition, aren’t really queer in the way I mess with.

I did have a friend once describe themselves as “if you think I’m attractive, you’re gay”

      Honestly it’s a vibe
