Internet and social media has connected us all and the thing that has emerged is the stupidest and most vile piece of shit that has ever existed.
If they keep the mindset and they don’t put themselves/their own friends or family above anyone else, they have a better chance at not fucking up the plant like humans did. Our own selfishness got us to the point where our own gains overweigh other people’s misery - see billionaires, famine, wars and the climate.
Had corporations with their profit incentive not taken over the whole net, it could have been something akin to collective intelligence.
