    Every (non-Australian) house needs at least one corner spider

      Aussie here. We keep corner spiders too. In fact, Bazza is looking at me right now from his cozy corner in the loo.

      We try to keep the huntsmen (the huntswomen and huntschildren too) outside, as they freak our city-dwelling friends out.

        I always thought huntsmen spiders were one of the coolest critters that live over there

          They don’t just live over there, huntsmen are found all over the world in moderate climates. Including the US, Southern Canada and Europe. But only a couple of species and they are not very common. Also a lot smaller than the SEA or Australian cousins.
