Now, I haven’t been to any of the darker corners of it, but tumblr seems to have gotten tame af after they banned all nsfw content.
Like we’re not all ex-tumblr users.
IDK man, I’ve spent a lot more time on CuratedTumblr (r/ and c/) than on tumblr.com. I’ve been there only just long enough to come to the conclusion that I either don’t get how you’re supposed to use tumblr or that it’s annoying to use (so. many. reblogs.).

Tumblr said it’d join the fediverse like 2 years ago but I don’t know when they actually mean to do so
They said recently that they’d add activitypub support once they finish migrating to wordpress.
