Is anyone else also having issues where some pictures and videos take a fuckton to load?

It’s been happening for the last week and I’m not sure if I should hop to a different instagram app, if it is a general problem with all of them or if it’s just my device.

    MyInsta hasn’t worked for me in months. It was last updated in August 2024. The maintainer said he would fix it months ago on r3dd1t but no dice. I don’t think it’s coming back.

    I recommend switching to Pixelfed. I mostly use IG just for chatting with people.

      I do have a pixelfed account, but there’s no way I’ll get my friends to move there as well :(

      I’d just use the ReVanced patch to get rid of the ads, but I wanted to keep the download button as well

    I’ve been using MyInsta without issues. Have you tried to backup and reset your config (I think it’s done like so: from MyInsta Settings > Dev. Mode> Export experiment Setting. Then from home page> long press home button>Delete Local Overrides)

    There’s alot of good info in their support Telegram group I suggest doing /notes in chat for the list of fixes and trying out ahmedbackup

      I didn’t try the config thing, but I tried reinstalling the app and the problem persists. I’ll check the Telegram group, thanks.
