    Goddammit. Why are the GOP so threatened by two people in love wanting to be married?

      Well, if you really wanna be technical about it, the United States Constitution amendment is not voted on by the people. Only by federal and then state legislators.

      Since the people didn’t really get a say on whether or not women should have the right to vote or Black people should have the right to vote. It was only the legislators, and since Republicans claim that they want the people in charge not the government, what they need to do is remove women and Black people‘s right to vote. Since it wasn’t really what people wanted.

    If Conservatives were ideologically consistent they would be against government endorsing ANY marriage. It is of course about forcing Christianity down everyone’s throats.
