Just curious how active the server is, and when it might be updated to a newer version?
I didn’t know there was a lemmy server. How do I join it?
Check the community info on the right. The server is hosted at minecraft.lemmy.world, but it’s running 1.20.1. You’ll need to launch MC with that version to join.

I haven’t been on in a few weeks. Partly because I have to switch back from the usual version I play on to the current server version, and I’m lazy. Partly because I’ve been busy with other things. But also because it’s not as much fun without others playing and some of the cool collaboration projects going.
But I know these things go in waves. I maintain a smaller server exclusively for my extended family. And that one will be dead for a few months, and then suddenly fire back to life for a few weeks when my nieces and nephews start playing a lot, then quiet again. Rinse and repeat. And I’ve seen the same thing on other MC servers I’ve played on.
I think this server is just in a lull right now.
