If laws don’t matter anymore I guess that means we can all just do whatever the hell we want.

Oh another CEO got Luigi’d? Oh well.

No, you can only do whatever you want if you have a certain tax bracket and/or you control the world’s most funded industrial military complex.

If the US Democrats are worth anything in regards to the rule of law and Democracy, now is the time to oust the people that have voted together with the fascists to attack international law.

Name them, shame them, throw them out. This is not a matter of political opinion. This is a matter of whether you are an enemy to Democracy or not.

Unfortunately you can’t do that for another 2 years. (And so many things will go wrong in those 2 years no one will be able to remember which fuckheads did this bad thing now)

I wrote my representative in Congress for the first time in my life over this, as he is one of the Dems who voted for it. I’m not patting myself on the back, just recommending you do it too if you are a US citizen.

I don’t have high hopes since his seat was purchased by AIPAC, but it felt good to vent to one of the people who have a voice in the system.

So not only is USA not a member of the ICC, they want to sanction now professionals working in the ICC for doing their work.

“The U.S. is one of only a handful of states, including Israel, not party to the Rome Statute; the U.S. has long been hostile to the ICC, potentially in part due to some U.S. officials’ implication in alleged war crimes, as some commentators have pointed out.”
